Nicole and Dan| Rainbow baby announcement

I have known Dan and Nicole for a little while now, back in 2015 on Valentines day, i photographed their lovely wedding at Sanford Springs country club in Hampshire.Soon after their wedding Dan and Nicole were expecting a baby, however they received the heartbreaking news that their baby girl Nikita, was to be born sleeping, and is now amongst the Angels! Shine brightly little girl, never ever forgotten!  xxx

I was recently contacted by Nicole with the most amazing news that she was indeed expecting again, a “Rainbow baby” and that she had the most  amazing idea on how to make the announcement, and asked me if i could help capture the moment! My heart could actually burst with excitement and joy for them!

A rainbow baby is a baby born to a mother who has previously lost a child due to miscarriage, still birth or neonatal death. It stems from the idea that a rainbow, symbolising hope and comfort, follows the storm of grief caused by a baby loss

I loved Nicole’s idea, what a creative and colourful way to mark such a special occasion! I searched for a private location where the couple could share their precious moments together. It was messy, fun and full of love!

I hope you like the images as much as we all did creating them.

“There is a Rainbow of hope, after every storm”

In loving memory of little Nikita xx
