My final wedding of 2015, November 21st, the coldest and windiest of the year!
With winds hitting 40mph and temperatures as low as -1C, i knew there would be a few challenges ahead for Fiona and Craig’s wedding day. The day started at St Joseph’s Church in Newbury, iconic for it’s bell tower and statue of Jesus, gazing down from high above!I have, on many occasions driven past this impressive building wondering if the inside was equally impressive and i wasn’t disappointed!
The natural light that fell at the alter, streaming through the semi circle window from above, delivered the most perfect light, exactly where my bride and groom were to stand! It was like it was meant to be, add to that quite possibly the best ever expressions from a groom as his bride to be made her way down the Aisle! I was actually in heaven!
Following the beautiful ceremony, we headed to the stunning Pitt Hall Barn on the Kingsclere estates. Now, at Pitt Hall Barn, myself and the Bride and Groom are usually whisked off in a 4×4 to various beauty locations around the estate farm land and woodlands, However with 40mph winds, we decided that wasn’t to be. Luckily at Pitt Hall Barn you don’t have to venture too far away to find some great spots for photographs, even an enormous metal rigged barn door with some funky lighting at night can make for some really cool photographs!
As for 1st Father/Daughter dances, this one was way up there with the best of them!
A simply amazing way to end 2015!
